Soccer Exhibition At LSU Canceled Due To Lightning

LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns soccer team's exhibition match on Thursday at LSU was canceled due to lightning in the area.

The teams took the field and played a thirty minute period before the match was called in the beginning of the second period due to lightning. The match will not be rescheduled.

Louisiana travels to Natchitoches to face Northwestern State in an exhibition match on Sunday at 1 p.m. The Ragin' Cajuns officially open the 2016 season at Ole Miss on Friday, August 19 at 6 p.m.
Louisiana begins its home schedule at the Ragin' Cajuns Soccer/Track Complex against Alcorn State on Sunday, August 21 at 4 p.m.
