LAFAYETTE - The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns soccer team and the UL Student-Athlete Advisory Committee are joining the Lafayette community in assisting neighbors impacted by the recent flooding in south Louisiana.
Fans who attend the Ragin' Cajuns home opener against Alcorn State on Sunday are encouraged to bring canned goods and other non-perishable food items. Fans donating three or more food items for local food banks will receive discounted admission for only $3.
Louisiana, which opens the season on Friday at No. 22-ranked Ole Miss, will face Alcorn State in a 4 p.m. match on Sunday at the Ragin' Cajuns Soccer/Track Facility.
