John Breaux Cajun Tennis Classic Finals Set

LAFAYETTE – Lafayette native and LSU standout Jordan Daigle teamed with Justin Butsch to advance to the finals of doubles play in the John Breaux Cajun Tennis Classic at the Culotta Tennis Center.
 
Top-seeded Daigle and Butsch defeated Southern California's Jack Jaede and Thibault Forget (4-6, 6-1, 7-5) to advance to Sunday's finals.
 
LSU will face second-seeded Texas Tech's Alex Sendegeya and Bjorn Thompson, who knocked off Kentucky's William Bushamuka and Beck Pennington (6-4, 6-4).
 
The doubles final will begin immediately following the singles championship match, which is scheduled at 12 p.m.
 
In singles action, top-seeded Bushamuka advanced to the championship by defeating Oklahoma State's Lukas Finzelberg (6-1, 7-5). Bushamuka will face forth-seeded Harrison Scott (Texas), who knocked off Thompson (6-1, 6-3).
 
Admission is free and open to the public. The championship match will be televised on Cox Sports Television and ESPN3.
