LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball coach Bob Marlin announced on Thursday that sophomore forward Scott Plaisance will transfer from the program.
Â
Plaisance, a third-year player for the Ragin' Cajuns, played in 11 games during the 2016-17 season with one start and averaged 2.7 points, 2.5 rebounds and 7.0 minutes per game. In 29 career games for the Ragin' Cajuns, Plaisance averaged 2.1 points and 1.6 rebounds.
Â
"We appreciate everything that Scottie has done for our program and we wish him nothing but the best in the future," Marlin said. "It's disappointing to have such a great young man leave our program, but that (transferring) has become part of the norm in college basketball."
