Ragin' Cajuns Athletics Announces Holiday Basketball Promotions

LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's and women's basketball fans attending games at the Cajundome during the month of December will be able to take part in several holiday promotions announced by the Department of Athletics.

The campaign starts off on Wednesday (Dec. 6) during the Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball game against Loyola at the Cajundome. All fans who attend the 7 p.m. contest are encouraged to bring a toy to donate for Toys for Tots. Everyone who donates an item will be entered into a prize drawing courtesy of the Ragin' Cajuns Store.

Fans who attend the Ragin' Cajuns women's game against Auburn at 7 p.m. on Dec. 8 are encouraged to bring a toy to donate to Toys for Tots, with other promotions planned.

Louisiana will host games against Loyola (Dec. 6), New Orleans (Dec. 16) and Southeastern Louisiana (Dec. 19) in men's basketball. The Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball team hosts Auburn on Dec. 8 before facing Alcorn State in the Fourth Annual Women's Basketball Education Game on Dec. 20.

A complete list of promotions planned are listed below:

Dec. 6 – MBB vs. Loyola, 7 p.m.
• Toys for Tots: Fans are encouraged to bring a toy to donate to Toys for Tots. Everyone who donates an item will be entered into a prize drawing courtesy of the Ragin' Cajuns Store.

Dec. 8 – WBB vs. Auburn, 7 p.m.
• Toys for Tots: Fans are encouraged to bring a toy to donate to Toys for Tots. Everyone who donates an item will be entered into a prize drawing courtesy of the Ragin' Cajuns Store.
• Youth/Biddy Basketball Night: Children 12 and under wearing a jersey get in FREE.
• Family Bundle Night: Purchase a Family Night ticket bundle that includes four tickets, four entrée concession items, four concession sides, and four drinks.
• Pictures with Santa: Families will be able to take pictures with Santa in the Kids Zone during the game.
• Grocery Store Blitz: Get FREE TICKETS when you visit Lafayette-area Albertson's, Super 1 Food Stores and Rouses Super Markets.

Dec. 16 – MBB vs. New Orleans, 7 p.m.
• Family Bundle Night: Purchase a Family Night ticket bundle that includes four tickets, four entrée concession items, four concession sides, and four drinks.

Dec. 19 – MBB vs. Southeastern Louisiana, 7 p.m.
• Wear Your Best Holiday Outfit: Fans wearing an ugly sweater, a holiday costume or any other type of holiday attire will be eligible to win gift cards courtesy of Academy.
• Elf on a Shelf will make a special appearance at the Cajundome for this game

Dec. 20 – WBB vs. Alcorn State, 11 a.m.
• Fourth Annual Women's Basketball Education Game: FREE admission for children 12 and under and elementary schools. Teachers and schools that would like to register can click here.
