HAMMOND, La. – The 13th-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team will have to wait one more day to see its first action of the 2017 season after the nightcap of the Tangi Tourism Baseball Classic against Southeastern Louisiana at Pat Kenelly was cancelled Friday night due to rain.
 
The make-up date for the Cajuns and Lions is expected to be announced tomorrow. Louisiana returns to action on Saturday at 1 p.m. as the squad faces Murray State (1-0) who was a 5-1 winner over Hofstra (0-1) earlier today.
 
Junior left-hander Gunner Leger will take the mound for the Ragin' Cajuns against the Racers, while the starter for Sunday's 5 p.m. matchup against Hofstra has still yet to be determined.
