Teams will now open three-game series with a 1 p.m. doubleheader Saturday

LAFAYETTE – Persistent rain show showers on Friday afternoon canceled the opening game of the Top 25 series between No. 18 Louisiana and No. 4 Alabama at Lamson Park.

The Ragin' Cajuns (4-2) and Crimson Tide (6-0) will now open their three-game weekend series with a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday. Steve Peloquin will call the action on SportsRadio ESPN 1420-AM and a free live web stream will be available on RaginCajuns.com.

Season ticket holders need to bring their Saturday tickets as they will be honored for both games. Individual tickets purchased for Saturday's regularly scheduled game of the series can be used for entry into both games of the doubleheader.

Fans who purchased individual game tickets for Friday can exchange those tickets for general admission seats in the outfield.

No changes will be made for parking. Reserved parking remains at Lamson Park while general admission parking will be on the east side of Cajun Field at the corner of Cajundome Blvd. and Reinhardt Dr.
