Ragin' Cajuns Fall To Harvard In Men's Tennis

Louisiana back in action on Saturday facing Brown
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Coleman Wahlborg rallied from a set down to force a tiebreaker against Harvard's Grant Solomon at No. 5 singles, but Solomon would record a 6-4, 5-7, 1-0 (10-8) victory to help lead the Crimson to a 7-0 win over the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team on Friday at Murr Center Tennis Courts.
Harvard (10-8) earned the doubles point as the No. 57-ranked tandem of Kenny Tao and Brian Yeung recorded a 6-4 win over Wahlborg and Eric Perez at No. 1 doubles before the Crimson claimed all six singles matches.
Tao gave Harvard a 2-0 lead after posting a 6-0, 6-2 win over Louisiana's Arthur Libaud at No. 1 singles before Chris Morrow defeated Perez at No. 6, 6-1, 6-2. The Crimson clinched the match at No. 3 singles when Yeung, ranked No. 15 in the Northeast Region, earned a 6-1, 6-2 win over Jamie Fraser.
Louisiana (11-8) will return to action on Saturday when it faces Brown (10-5) in Providence, R.I. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m. CDT.
