Limoh Paces Cajuns During Opening Day At Florida Relays

Cajuns produce three personal-bests in 5,000 meters
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Stanley Limoh recorded a personal-best time of 14:37.39 to finish ninth overall in the men's 5,000-meter run and pace the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns track and field team after the first day of the Pepsi Florida Relays on Friday at Percy Beard Track, located inside James G. Pressly Stadium on the University of Florida campus.
Competition resumes at 8:30 a.m. CDT on Friday. The final day of competition in one of the nation's premier collegiate and high school track meets is slated to begin at 8 a.m. CDT. The final two days will be streamed live on SEC Digitial +.

Limoh, one of three Ragin' Cajuns to set a personal-best in the event, shattered his previous best (14:55.68) that was set at the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships in February.
The freshman, competing in his second 5,000-meter event during the outdoor season, posted the fastest time in the Sun Belt Conference this season with teammate Beau Robinson finishing 20th overall with a personal-best time of 14:48.92. Lindsay LaGarde clocked a personal-best time of 17:50.98 to finish 25th overall in the women's 5,000-meters for Louisiana.
Richard Delphin (175-0) and Landon Carroll (155-1) finished 13th and 19th respectively in the men's hammer throw for the Ragin' Cajuns with Bartul Basic finishing 19th in the javelin (195-10) and Hunter Stelly 28th (182-8).
