Cajuns have won last six matches against Golden Eagles
LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team returns to action on Saturday as it faces Conference USA member Southern Miss in an 11 a.m. match at Cajun Courts.

Louisiana (11-9), which will face Prairie View (4-20) in a doubleheader on Sunday beginning at 10 a.m., plays its first match at home since March 8 when it faced Ivy League opponent Penn.

The Ragin' Cajuns have been led in singles matches during the 2017 portion of their schedule by sophomore Arthur Libaud, who has recorded a 12-6 record. Freshman Jamie Fraser has won eight matches in dual play for the Ragin' Cajuns with Eric Perez and freshman Elio Lago with six each.

In doubles, the tandem of Fraser and Libaud have posted a 13-3 record to lead Louisiana with the senior tandem of Perez and Coleman Wahlborg winning eight matches.

Jorman Reyes (16-1), Chao-Yu Huang (14-1) and Teeradon Tortrakul (11-4) have paced USM, which has won four straight matches and 10 of its last 12. Reyes and Daniel Merker have recorded a 12-2 record at No. 1 doubles for the Golden Eagles with Huang and Wen-Po Tseng winning their last seven matches and posting an 11-2 record.

Louisiana has won the last six meetings against USM, including a 7-0 victory in the last match played in Lafayette in 2013.
