LAFAYETTE, La. – Coming off of a sweep of Arkansas State, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team will open a span of two consecutive five-game weeks with a pair of midweek games against in-state foes starting Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. when the Cajuns head to New Orleans, La. to face Tulane at Turchin Stadium.

Following the matchup with the Green Wave (18-18, 7-2 American), the Ragin' Cajuns (21-14-1, 10-4-1 Sun Belt) will return home to host Southeastern Louisiana (22-13, 10-8 Southland) in a 6 p.m. contest at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park.

Junior right-hander Evan Guillory (2-2, 4.54 ERA) will make his fourth start of the year at Tulane. Guillory has given up just one earned run in his last 11.1 innings pitched. The Green Wave will counter with sophomore left-hander Ross Massey (0-4, 7.04 ERA) who hasn't seen action since March 26 against Stetson.

Sophomore right-hander Jack Burk (2-4, 2.58 ERA) will take the mound on Wednesday against the Lions. Burk has notched a quality start in three of his last four outings this season. Southeastern La. has tabbed senior right-hander Derrick Mount (1-0, 3.48 ERA) to make the start.

Offensively, the Ragin' Cajuns are hitting .276 as a team with 60 doubles, 12 triples and 20 home runs. Senior Ishmael Edwards is riding an 11-game hit streak coming into the week with a team-best .338 average, seven doubles, five triples, three home runs and 21 RBI. Junior Steven Sensley has taken over the team RBI lead with 25 on the season while hitting .314 with six doubles, two triples and four homers.

The Cajuns hold a narrow 46-44 lead in the all-time series with Tulane after dropping the only meeting between the two teams this season losing 6-4 at Russo Park on March 22. The Cajuns are 15-18 against the Green Wave with head coach Tony Robichaux at the helm including a 6-10 mark in New Orleans.

Tulane has won four straight and six of its last seven after sweeping UConn at home last weekend. The Green Wave won big 8-3 in the series opener before edging out the Huskies in a pair of contests 3-1 and 6-5 to claim the sweep.

Hunter Williams paces a Tulane offense that is hitting .264 with 66 doubles, five triples and 38 home runs. Williams is the only Green Wave hitter with an average over .300 on the season hitting .360 with 15 doubles, a triple, six homers and 28 RBI. Jarret DeHart has a team-best seven home runs and 31 RBI with a .288 average.

The Ragin' Cajuns hold a 64-50 edge over Southeastern Louisiana in the all-time series. The Lions claimed both meetings thus far this season winning in extra innings 5-4 before routing the Cajuns 15-3.
Head coach Tony Robichaux holds a 20-15 record against Southeastern Louisiana as the Ragin' Cajuns skipper including an 11-5 mark at home.
