Ragin' Cajuns Golf Tee Off At Old Waverly Collegiate

WEST POINT, Miss. – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns golf team is set to tee off at the Old Waverly Collegiate Championship starting Monday at the par-72, 7,088-yard Old Waverly Golf Course.

Play gets underway with a shotgun start on Monday at 8:30 a.m. for the first 36 holes. The third and final round is slated for Tuesday morning.

Host Mississippi State is joined by Chattanooga, Cincinnati, Kansas State, Kennesaw State, Lipscomb, Louisiana, Louisiana Tech, McNeese, Memphis, Ole Miss, Rice, South Alabama, South Florida, Southeastern Louisiana and Southern Miss in the 16-team field.

Fernando Cruz Valle, Aron Juliusson, Ragnar Gardarsso, Triston Elston and Thomas Strandemo make up the starting lineup for the Ragin' Cajuns. Cruz Valle paces the squad with a 72.78 scoring average and four top 25 finishes this season. Juliusson has also posted four top 25 performances this year and is second on the team with a 73.70 average.

Louisiana is paired with Southern Miss, Southeastern Louisiana and Chattanooga for the first day. Live scoring is available on Golfstat.com.
