Food, Fun, Football Set For Saturday's Red-White Game

LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns football fans can take advantage of food, football and fun on Saturday (April 8) when the annual Red-White Scrimmage takes place at Cajun Field.

Gates open at 11 a.m., with kickoff set for noon. Admission is free. The 2017 Ragin' Cajuns football team will scrimmage for two 12-minute quarters during the first half before an Alumni Game, featuring former Ragin' Cajuns greats Jake Delhomme and Tyrell Fenroy, is played in the second half.

Activities include fun jumps, a petting zoo, and face painting near Gate C, along with laser tag on the east concourse and the Kids McDash to start the game. Fans can also enjoy boiled crawfish (five pounds for $20) on the south concourse.

In-game contests for fans, including a chance to win a bike from Academy Sports, will also take place with fans able to get autographs on the field at the conclusion of the game.

The renewal process for Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns football season tickets is currently underway and fans are encouraged to renew their tickets for the 2017 season by April 17. Louisiana will open the 2017 season on Sept. 2 at Cajun Field against Southeastern Louisiana.

Season tickets, beginning at $110, are available for purchase. Reserved and chairback seating is available for $135 per seat with the Family 5 Pack available for $405.
