Ragin' Cajuns Football Practice Schedule Set

LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns football team announced its 2017 fall camp practice schedule, with its first official workout set for Sunday afternoon at 3:15 p.m. at the Ragin' Cajuns Practice Facility.

The Ragin' Cajuns will work out in helmets for the first two practices before going to shells beginning Aug. 1 and full gear on Aug. 3. Louisiana will practice in full gear on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays during the remainder of fall camp with three scrimmages set beginning on Aug. 5.

Louisiana will hold its remaining scrimmages on Aug. 12 and 19 and will participate in Fan Day on Sunday, Aug. 27 at the Cajundome. All practices and scrimmages are open to RCAF and Quarterback Club members at the $1,000 level or above.

The Ragin' Cajuns officially open the 2017 season on Sept. 2 against Southeastern Louisiana at Cajun Field. Louisiana will also play host to Sun Belt Conference opponents ULM (Sept. 23), Texas State (Oct. 12), New Mexico State (Nov. 18) and Georgia Southern (Nov. 25).
