Ragin’ Cajuns Open Week Two Of Fall Camp Indoors

LAFAYETTE – After taking the day off on Sunday, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns football team returned to practice for week two of fall camp on Monday, spending over two hours inside of the Moncla Indoor Practice Facility with a 22-period practice.

"I think the guys got a lot out of the time off yesterday. They flew around today and had good energy," head coach Mark Hudspeth said. "They bounced back well and had good retention. I definitely think the time off helped them after seven straight days of practice."

The Ragin' Cajuns return to practice on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. as the squad will don full pads for the first time since the scrimmage on Saturday. All practices and scrimmages are open to RCAF and Quarterback Club members at the $1,000 level or above.

Louisiana will officially open its 2017 season on Sept. 2 against Southeastern Louisiana at Cajun Field. The Ragin' Cajuns will also play host to Sun Belt Conference opponents ULM (Sept. 23), Texas State (Oct. 12), New Mexico State (Nov. 18) and Georgia Southern (Nov. 25).
