Block Party Set for Volleyball's Sun Belt Home Opener

The event features a free concert performed by Geno Delafose and French Rocking Boogie
LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Volleyball is hosting a block party on the Earl K. Long Gym lawn (500 E. St. Mary, Blvd.) on Friday, Sept. 29 prior to the Sun Belt Conference home opener against Arkansas State.
The block party is highlighted by a free concert performed by Geno Delafose and French Rocking Boogie from 4:30-6:00 p.m.

Concessions, served on the lawn, will open at 4 p.m. Special items will be available on the menu and student tailgating prices will be offered.
The first 200 fans to purchase popcorn will be entered into a drawing for prizes. There will also be a sign-up for the chance to win additional prizes.
In addition to the free concert, there will also be student friendly games and volleyball nets for entertainment.Â

The Ragin' Cajuns and Red Wolves match follows the block party, with first serve set for 6:30 p.m. inside Earl K. Long Gym.
