Weekend Parking Guidelines for Softball Mardi Gras Classic

LAFAYETTE - The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Athletics Department has announced parking guidelines to assist fans attending the Mardi Gras Classic softball tournament at Lamson Park the weekend of Feb. 9-11.

Friday (February 9)
  • General admission parking at Cajun Field with a game ticket in hand or by informing parking attendant of plans to attend softball game. Enter at Gate 5 (corner of Cajundome Blvd. and Reinhardt Dr.). First-come, first-served in conjunction with fair patrons after 5 p.m.
  • Reserved parking (Lot A) will be accessible at Lamson Park the entire day.
  • Overflow parking at Fraternity Row on Glynn Abel Drive (limited number of spaces) and at Printing Services and Intramural Fields on Coliseum Drive.
Saturday (February 10)
  • All parking is encouraged to use the spaces made available at Fraternity Row on Glynn Abel Drive (limited number of spaces) and at Printing Services and Intramural Fields on Coliseum Drive. Golf carts will be used to shuttle fans to and from Lamson Park.
  • General admission parking at Cajun Field with a game ticket in hand or by informing parking attendant plans to attend softball game. Enter at Gate 5 (corner of Cajundome Blvd. and Reinhardt Dr.). First-come, first-served in conjunction with the fair patrons.
  • There will be NO RESERVED PARKING at Lamson Park on Saturday. Cajundome Blvd. will be closed the majority of the day/evening. 
Sunday (February 11)
  • General admission parking at Cajun Field with a game ticket in hand or by informing parking attendant of plans to attend softball game. Enter at Gate 5 (corner of Cajundome Blvd. and Reinhardt Dr.). First-come, first-served in conjunction with the fair patrons.
  • Reserved parking (Lot A) will be accessible at Lamson Park the entire day.
  • Overflow parking at Fraternity Row on Glynn Abel Drive (limited number of spaces) and at Printing Services and Intramural Fields on Coliseum Drive.
