Backpacks are heading to local students thanks to the generosity of our Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Football team. ❤️🤍
Defensive end Tito Chikere started the effort by purchasing backpacks for students at Ossun Elementary and Paul Breaux Middle School. When his teammates learned what he was doing, they pitched in with additional school supplies to help meet each school's needs. Coaches and staff joined in, making it a true Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns team effort.
"It's a blessing, man. Really just being able to give back," Chikere said. "I'm giving back for the kids, but more importantly I just want to let God know why I'm doing it. It's not just me, but for Him."
