Football Signing Day Celebration Set For Feb. 6

LAFAYETTE, La. -- The annual Ragin' Cajuns Football Signing Day Celebration, presented by Gulf Coast Bank, will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 6 beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Leon Moncla Indoor Practice Facility in the heart of the Cajuns Athletic Complex.
Admission to the event is free for all RCAF annual fund donors along with a guest, along with UL students with current ID and young fans under 12. Admission to the event for all others is $20 per couple, with proceeds benefiting the Ragin' Cajuns football team.
The announcement of the 2013 football recruiting class will be made at the event. It will also serve as a celebration of the recently completed 2012 season in which Louisiana tied a school-record with nine victories, including a 43-34 win over East Carolina in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.
Food at the event will be provided by Abacus with beverages courtesy of Schilling Distributors and Coca-Cola.
The event will run from 5:00-6:30 p.m. and include an appearance by members of the Ragin' Cajuns football team.
In addition, fans will be able to get their pictures taken with both the 2011 and 2012 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Championship trophies.
Fans will also have the opportunity to reserve new season tickets for the 2013 campaign and contribute to the 2013 RCAF Annual Fund Campaign.
