Cajuns Fall to #52 MSU

Starkville, Miss. ? Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns women's
tennis team fell for the first time in five matches Thursday at the hands of the
Mississippi State Bulldogs. The Cajuns (5-9) lost 6-1, with Julie Mazinova
picking up the only point for the Cajuns.
During the Cajuns four match winning streak, UL was able
to win the doubles point and put pressure on their opponents. However
Mississippi State was able to win the doubles point and put the pressure on the
Cajuns.
Mazinova playing in the number two position won her match
6-2, 6-0 to extend her personal win streak to five.
The Cajuns will return home this Sunday to face ULM and
McNeese State. The double header will begin at 10:30 a.m. when the Cajuns take
on ULM, followed up by a 3:00 p.m. match with McNeese State.
