4/1/2025 12:12:00 PM | Athletics, RCAF
Craig Campbell, a proud Lafayette native, graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (USL) with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1996.
His deep-rooted connection to the university extends through his family, as his mother and both sisters also earned their degrees from USL. During his time on campus, Craig was an active member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity and a dedicated supporter of Ragin' Cajuns Athletics, attending numerous baseball and football games. It was at USL, during his final year, that he met his wife.
One of Craig's most cherished memories in Louisiana Athletics was rushing the field with his wife after the unforgettable victory over Texas A&M. Bringing down the goalpost remains a defining moment in his lifelong support of the Ragin' Cajuns.
As a committed investor in Louisiana Athletics, Craig recognizes the program's dedication to student-athletes and fans alike. He applauds the university's efforts to provide first-class facilities and enhance the gameday experience. He is eager to see the Lafayette community rally behind these significant improvements and continue supporting the growth of Ragin' Cajuns Athletics.
Craig firmly believes that the UL Administration and Athletics Department are doing an outstanding job of navigating today's evolving collegiate athletics landscape. With great enthusiasm, he encourages others to stand behind their home team and be part of the continued success of Louisiana Athletics.
